Terms and Conditions for Magnolia Mental Health Center

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using this website and the services of Magnolia Mental Health, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use Magnolia Mental Health's services.

2. Services
Magnolia Mental Health provides mental health therapy services through telehealth platform, SimplePractice. Services are delivered by a Hannah Dea, Licensed Clinical Social Worker. These services are intended for individuals seeking non-emergency mental health support.
Please note: Magnolia Mental Health does not provide emergency or crisis services. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.

3. Eligibility
To use Magnolia Mental Health’s services, you must:

Be at least 18 years old, or have parental/legal guardian consent if under 18

Reside in California

Have access to a secure internet connection and private space for sessions

4. Telehealth Consent
By using services, you consent to receive therapy via telehealth. This includes the use of electronic communications (video, phone, or other approved platforms). You understand:

Telehealth has limitations compared to in-person therapy

Technology may fail or be disrupted

Sessions may not be appropriate for all mental health concerns

5. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information

Use the services only for lawful and appropriate purposes

Attend scheduled sessions or provide timely notice of cancellations

Maintain the privacy of your therapy space

6. Fees and Payment
All fees for services will be outlined prior to your first session. Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. Magnolia Mental Health accepts major credit and debit cards. Missed sessions or cancellations without 24 hour notice will incur a fee.

7. Confidentiality
Magnolia Mental Health is committed to protecting your privacy. All communications between you and your therapist are confidential and comply with HIPAA and applicable privacy laws. Exceptions to confidentiality may apply, including:

8. Intellectual Property

Magnolia Mental Health reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to services at any time, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms and Conditions or is deemed harmful to clients or business.

These Terms and Conditions may be revised at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of services indicates your acceptance of those changes.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
